INFIRMARY ROAD/LANGSETT ROAD – TRAM TRACK CONCRETE REPAIRS
Amey and Stagecoach Supertram will be carrying out repairs to the concrete track slab and applying an anti-skid treatment on the out of town side of Infirmary Road/Langsett Road between Montgomery Terrace Road and Burgoyne Road.
This work will take place during the period from 26 August to 10 September between the hours of 7:30 pm and 5:00 am Monday to Friday.
This work has been scheduled to take place during the night to minimise disruption in the area. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and any noise you may experience.
Road closures on the out of town side will be in operation during working hours and diversion routes will be in place where needed. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be available at all times.

Pavement resurfacing works:
Work will take place from 1 September 2014 for 2 weeks.
We will need to close the roads to undertake this work. Reasons why we may have to close roads for pavement resurfacing can include the road is too narrow to work on; pedestrian safety or to create access on roads with a high number of parked cars.

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties we have had to temporarily halt some of the pavement resurfacing works that were due to start this week, week commencing 18 August. They will be rescheduled to start for the 10 September. I am awaiting an updated programme for the rescheduled dates.
The current on-street signs will be removed.

As soon as we have the new dates another letter will be delivered to properties affected. This information will be tweeted and uploaded onto the website. I will also send the updated information to all businesses on my Walkley list and ask Naomi to put the information on the Central blog.
