TRAVEL FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES – PARENT QUESTIONNAIRE

10 Jun

Sheffield City Council is in the process of reviewing home to school travel for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our aim is to ensure that the SEND Travel Offer provides the right level of support to children and families, whilst remaining financially viable. We also wish to enable children and young people to positively increase their independence in travelling, in line with their individual needs, ability and development.

If you are the parent or carer of a school or college-aged child or young person with SEND, we would welcome your views on this through our online survey available at www.sheffield.gov.uk/indetravel.

This questionnaire is anonymous and should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

You can also help us by forwarding the online survey onto any parents and carers of children and young people with SEND.

Alternatively, you can share the survey from our Facebook page or our Twitter account (@SheffParents) or link to it on any websites or blogs you are responsible for.

Complete the online survey.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Please note: this consultation is open until Friday 19 June.
