Pavement Resurfacing – A16 Upperthorpe – Night works Starting 23rd May 2016

17 May

Pavement Resurfacing – A16 Upperthorpe – Night works

Streets Ahead are due to start pavement resurfacing in your area week commencing 23 May 2016 for 2 weeks. Due to the high volume of traffic and businesses in this area, they have scheduled this work to take place during the night. Working hours will be between 7.00pm and 7.00am. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and any noise you may experience.
Temporary road signs will be displayed five days before work starts, stating the dates of work and parking restrictions on your road. Please note there will be no work at weekends or Bank Holiday Monday.
Parking and access arrangements
There will be no on-street parking or vehicle access to properties on the roads we are working on, during working hours. Most roads will be open and on-street parking will be as normal at other times. Please let our on-site supervisor know if you need vehicle access to your property for urgent reasons. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be available at all times.
Vehicles left on-street during restrictions may be towed away and you will need to pay a fee to have your vehicle released.
Please note that the schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances. Temporary road signs will be updated to reflect any changes.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. For the latest updates please visit www.sheffield.gov.uk/upperthorpe or follow on Twitter @sccstreetsahead ‪#‎SAA16‬

A15-PENISTONE ROAD ROAD RESURFACING – NIGHT WORK STARTING 17th MAY 2016

16 May

A15-PENISTONE ROAD

ROAD RESURFACING – NIGHT WORK (Phase 6)

As part of the Streets Ahead works we are soon to resurface the A6102 Catch Bar Lane and Parkside Road (to Penistone Road). Leppings Lane (from Middlewood Road to Catch Bar Lane) and Parkside Road (from Middlewood Road to Catch Bar Lane).

This work will take place from Tuesday 17 May for approximately 5 days between the hours of 7.30pm – 6.00am (Monday – Friday) and Streets Ahead will need to close the road to do the work safely. This work has been scheduled to take place at night to minimise disruption to the area. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience or noise you may experience.

There will be no on-street parking on the roads that we are resurfacing – vehicles left on-street may be towed away and you will need to pay a fee to have your vehicle released.

If you are away during the period in which the works are scheduled to take place please avoid parking your car on the road. Our work schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances so it may be necessary to change the start date at short notice. We will tow cars that are delaying our works.

Please note that diversion routes will be in place where needed. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be available at all times.

Parking and access arrangements

There will be no on-street parking or access to properties on the roads we are working on, during working hours. Most roads will be open and on-street parking will be as normal at other times.

A15 Penistone Road – A6102 Road Resurfacing

Our planned work schedule is set out below and gives information about the weeks when work will take place. The specific dates of work for each street will be displayed on the on-street signs five days in advance. Road closed tonight signs will be used as a reminder to residents.

Please note that the schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances. It may be necessary to change the schedule at short notice. If this happens, the temporary signs displayed in the area will be updated.
