Sheffield United “Kick it Out” poster design competition for 5 to 11 year olds

22 Sep

‘Kick it Out’

Sheffield United FC v Shrewsbury Town FC

Saturday 19th November 2016

Invitation to design the official poster for the ‘Kick it Out’ game

The football fixture Sheffield United FC v Shrewsbury Town FC has been designated as our annual ‘Kick it Out’ fixture at Bramall Lane. Kick it Out’ is football’s equality and inclusion organisation and for many years the Blades have worked with them to tackle discrimination and to promote inclusion in football.

As part of our support for the day this year we are asking children to design a poster with a ‘Kick it Out’ theme. More information on ‘Kick it Out’ can be found on their web site at

The competition is open to all children aged 5 to 11. Entries need to be on A4 paper and they can be painted or drawn. They should ideally be in landscape format.

We are looking at posters that remind fans that everyone wants to enjoy the game and that language and behaviour should be respectful.

Our 4 winners, accompanied with an adult guest each, will receive a special invite to the game on Saturday 19th November and will be presented as winners in front of the crowd. The winning posters will be enlarged and printed and used as part of our signage around the ground.

Please make sure that you or parent/teacher puts your name, age, date of birth, home address, contact telephone number and the name of your school on the back of the poster.

Entries can be posted to KIO Competition, Sheffield United, Bramall Lane, Sheffield S2 4SU or can be put in the competition post box in the Superstore.

The closing date for the competition is Friday 28th October 2016.

Any questions can be directed to marked KIO Poster Competition.
