We are now consulting on the Sheaf and Upper Don flood protection schemes.
Sheffield City Council is working with the Environment Agency on an ambitious £83m investment programme to better protect Sheffield from flooding.
The city flooded in 1973, during the 90’s and more recently in June 2007 causing considerable damage and the tragic loss of life.
We need your views on how we can make sure Sheffield’s homes, communities and businesses are better protected from flooding. This will also help us to build new homes, encourage more businesses and jobs into the city and improve our beautiful rivers for more people to enjoy.
This consultation is open to everyone who would like to comment on the options to prevent flood waters damaging our homes and businesses. You can provide feedback at one of our consultation drop in events or complete our online questionnaire.
