Sheffield Funding Forum
South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau (SYFAB) is holding a FREE event in
Sheffield for Sheffield groups and organisations:
Lizzie Joyce, from Groundwork South Yorkshire, will be speaking about
the Tesco Bags of Help scheme. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to
support community participation in the improvement and use of open
spaces. Types of projects previously supported include volunteer training,
improvements of open spaces, community events and sports and leisure
Asha Karbhari, from Key Fund, will be speaking about the recently
launched Northern Impact Fund. The fund is a blended grant and loan
programme with £5,000 – £150,000 available to enterprises less than 5 years
old or existing organisations looking at developing/diversifying new
activities to generate income.

Venue: Sheffield Quakers Meeting House, 10 St James Street,
Sheffield, S1 2EW
The first presentation starts promptly at 10.00. Please arrive from 9.30 to
sign in, and network with other organisations. Free refreshments will be
served later in the session.
