Meet the Funder – event for Groups & Organations

23 Jan

South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau (SYFAB) is holding a FREE event in
Sheffield for Sheffield groups and organisations:
Sue Wragg, from South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation (SYCF), will be
speaking about a range of funding streams available for community
projects, including a new Combatting Isolation and Community
Involvement Fund, which is aimed at supporting older people.
Peter Foyle, from SYFAB/South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation, will
be speaking about the South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation’s new
Impact Guide.

The community foundation, like many funders, want to know
the impact of any grant they make. It can be hard for smaller groups to
work out what this means and how to do it. We will be introducing an easy
guide to help you through the process.

When:
Thursday 2nd February 2017, 10.00 – 12.00
Venue: Sheffield Quakers Meeting House, 10 St James Street,
Sheffield, S1 2EW

The first presentation starts promptly at 10.00. Please arrive from 9.30 to
sign in, and network with other organisations.
Free refreshments will be served later in the session.

Cost: Free
