Equipping the City for a Prosperous Future – Event for small businesses at Sheffield Town Hall 4th April 2017

21 Mar

After years of uncertainty, cutbacks and austerity, Sheffield City Region is witnessing a resurgent economy, embarking on a period of growth and prosperity. FSB is working to place small business at the heart of  the renewal, helping Sheffield City Region to become the best place in the UK to do business.

Over coming weeks we have planned a series of events designed to engage the region’s small businesses in being part of the business renaissance and becoming building blocks in the City  Region’s economic strategy for success. The first of these takes place at 6:00 for 6:30pm on Tuesday 4th April in Reception Room ‘B’ at the Town Hall, Pinstone Street, Sheffield, S1 2HH. The FSB will be hosting an event entitled “Equipping the City for a Prosperous Future”. Guest Speakers will include  Julie Dore, Leader of Sheffield City Council, David Grimes, Head of Sheffield City Region Growth Hub and Camille McCawley and Lynne Humphries of Clean Sheffield.

The event will review the economic future for Sheffield City Region, look at the assistance available  for local businesses to grow and prosper and examine the role that businesses can play in making South Yorkshire a more attractive place to do business. We do hope you can join us for this important event, which is FREE to attend.

A buffet and refreshments will be served at 6.00pm.
