APPLY NOW – Safer and Sustainable Communities Partnership discretionary fund 2017-18 (closing date 19 April 2017)

The Safer and Sustainable Communities Partnership discretionary funding is available to non-profit organisations in Sheffield

  • Proposals will be considered for activity to tackle the following priorities:
    • Police and Crime Commissioner Priority – Protecting vulnerable people
    • Police and Crime Commissioner Priority – Tackling crime and anti-social behaviour
    • Police and Crime Commissioner Priority – Enabling fair treatment
    • SCP Priority – Gangs and youth violence
    • SCP Priority – Hate crime against the most vulnerable
    • SCP Priority – Modern slavery and human trafficking
    • SCP Priority – Domestic abuse and violence against women and girls (including honour based violence, female genital mutilation and forced marriage)
  • In addition, there are a number of cross-cutting themes and the partnership would favour projects that seek to address the following as drivers, enablers or vulnerabilities for crime:
    • Cyber crime
    • Students
    • Substance misuse
    • Young people
    • Older people

 

  • Other factors that will be considered:
    • Evidence based need
    • Evidence of impact
    • Outcome focus
    • Building on or promoting partnership working
    • Exit strategy – there is a plan for funding the project beyond 2017-18

 

  • All activity and expenditure must be completed during the period of 1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018.
  • Completed proposal forms should be emailed to Deborah.willoughby@sheffield.gov.uk by 19 April 2017
